I received an urgent call yesterday. My friend who is a photographer, needed a new messenger bag and asked me if those from Jack Spade were any good. Sensing an emergency, I made him meet me at Kate Spade Raffles City Shopping Centre that very evening to check them out. At first, nothing stood out but gradually he was drawn to the Jack Spade Nylon Canvas Tech Field Bag. I did a quick once over. Yes it is pretty blah on the outside, but the insides were a different ball game altogether.
It was packed full of extras, including a removable 17" laptop sleeve, loads of interior zip pockets, exterior back pocket, elastic pencil holders, adjustable shoulder strap, the list just goes on and on. Best thing, it only cost SGD360, which made it even more desirable. He finally picked the one in Chocolate but it also comes in Black, Navy and Tank.
Next, he wants to get a long wallet for his model girlfriend (how typical), so we will be meeting at Louis Vuitton this Sunday. If everything goes to plan, I will make sure he gets her the Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Insolite Wallet.

Hey Jeremy, why not? I think the Insolite Wallet in Ivory is pretty neutral.
I just picked up this bag and really like it. I use to use a Timbuk2 Messenger, but liked the style of the Jack Spade better.
One negative. The laptop sleeve that comes with it won't fit my 17" MacBook Pro. Luckily i can remove the sleeve and use a different one.
Hey Brian, congrats on your Jack Spade. The negative is really minor so don't let it affect you, otherwise it's a great bag!
